For dogs who come along for the drive, from quick errands to weekends at the beach. This guide compares our three car accessories so you can choose: cover the back seat, line the boot, or give your dog a space of their own behind the rear seats.
Which one do you need?
- Back seat cover. A hammock-style cover in thickened 600D Oxford cloth, made to be waterproof and dirt-resistant. Straps loop over the front and rear headrests, side flaps cover the doors, and it measures 130 cm long by 145 cm wide.
- Boot liner. Side flaps, a fold-down bumper flap and a tall back panel line the whole boot and the back of the rear seats, so mud and fur land on the mat instead of the carpet. It measures 185 × 105 × 38 cm, and our photos show it fitted in mid-size SUV boots.
- Boot barrier net. A stretchy, see-through mesh net, 120 × 70 cm, that hooks across the back of the rear seats in hatchbacks and SUVs. Four corner hooks fit it by hand, with no tools or drilling. It suits calm dogs who just need a boundary.
Before you order
Measure your back seat or boot and compare it with the measurements on each product. For the barrier net, check there's somewhere to hook each corner, such as tie-down loops or grab handles. Neither the seat cover nor the barrier net is a restraint, so pair them with a properly fitted dog car harness, or a crate in the boot.
